8th Convocation Ceremony @ Brahma Kumaris H.Q Shantivan- Abu Road (Raj)
The 8th Convocation ceremony was held at Shantivan campus of
Brahma kumaris H.Q on 12th February,2017. The procession was started from Tapasya Dham with drum set and Flag routed through Prakash sthambh reached the venue conference hall around 10.00 AM. Guests from Annamalai University, Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharastra Open University, Vardaman Mahaveen Open University and Ganpat University along with Raj yogi B.K.Mruthyunjaya, vice chairman, Education wing RERF, Dr. B.K.Harish Shukla, National co-ordinator, Education wing, RERF, Dr B.K.Pandiamani, Director, Value Education Programmes, Brahma Kumaris, Dr R.K.Gupta, H.Q. Co-ordinator, Value education lead the procession. About 1000 students from all the four Universities participated on the same.
Peculiarity of this convocation is the integration of Four Universities convocations at one Venue, which is feasible only by Brahma Kumaris. With the song of Madhurvani group the ceremony started.The representatives of various universities such as Dr R.Balu, Dean,Faculty of Education, Annamalai university, Tamilnadu, Dr Dinesh Bhonde, Registrar,YCMOU,Maharastra and Dr Kiran Amin, Dean, Engineering & Technology, Ganpat University, Rajasthan offered their convocation messages.
Rajyogi B.K.Nirwair, General Secretary, Brahma Kumaris and Chairman, Education wing,
RERF offered his chairman’s address. Rajyogini Dr B.K.Nirmala , Director Gyan Sarovar, Mount Abu offered her blessings on this occasion to all the students who are taking Degrees and PG Diplomas in the convocation.
Dr B.K.Harish Shukla ,National Co-ordinator, Education wing, RERF welcomed the Guests and the participants from various universities. Dr B.K.Pandiamani, Director, Value education Programmes, Brahma kumaris, RERF gave details about distance education programmes. B.K.Supriya, Exdecutive member, Education wing,RERF presented the power point on the new concept of ‘Thought Laboratory” and Dr R.P.Gupta, HQ co-ordinator, Value education gave vote of thanks.
