The Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC) is a unique learning centre that provides higher education in the art of living as well as training in Rajyoga, the highest form of yoga.
The 28-acre complex is situated in peaceful, sylvan surroundings 70 kilometres from the hustle and bustle of the national capital, New Delhi, in Gurgaon district of Haryana.
The courses, seminars and lectures conducted at ORC aim at achieving excellence through holistic personality development. The centre offers value orientation courses for educators, administrators, businessmen and industrialists, scientists and engineers, jurists, women, youth and others.
The ORC provides state-of-the-art facilities for learning, including seven 150-seat seminar/training halls, a 400-seat auditorium, a larger, 2,300-seat auditorium, meditation rooms and a library.
The complex includes a spiritual art gallery which has life-size models and paintings depicting ancient Indian culture and explaining the spiritual principles that govern our life.
Accommodation with laundry service is available for 500 guests/trainees. Vegetarian food prepared by Rajyogis is served at the ten dining halls that can together cater to 1,500 people.
There is a health centre with allopathic and homoeopathic doctors, besides clinics for dentistry, physiotherapy and acupressure.
A 200-kilowatt solar power plant at the ORC is the largest of its kind in India.
Transport to ORC is provided from nearby railway stations and the Delhi airport on request.
